Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Trying to capture the tension. My cat Barnabas really wants to get at the bird, but can’t, and the bird has no idea it’s being stalked by Barnabas. Barnabas was so dialed in on the bird, he didn’t realize I was holding the camera right behind his head. B&W just adds to the tension IMO.
- What worked:
- Shadows on the left really enhance the idea of Barnabas hiding and stalking the bird.
- What I'd do differently:
- Wait for more birds to land on the rail. But Barnabas wouldn’t be able to sit still that long. Lol!
