Common questions.
- Click any "Join Framelines" button. Pick monthly (£5) or yearly (£50). You'll pay via Stripe, set a password, and land in the app already signed in. The whole flow takes a couple of minutes.
- Framelines is built around a small photographer community that has been going for 6 years. We've tried and tested every idea in this app, and we want to promote values like community, consistency, focus, and learning. We are not yet another Instagram clone capitalising on photographer dissatisfaction. Every feature in this app is designed to help motivate you, help you work with others, and shoot your best work. We want you to be better because we love photography, and we want photography to be better.
- Any level. Most members shoot for the love of it. Beginners, hobbyists, and seasoned photographers all submit.
- No. There's no pressure. Submit when the brief moves you. The streak counter celebrates consistency but doesn't punish a missed month.
- Yes. Members are worldwide. Assignments are shot wherever you are. Payments are in GBP; Stripe handles currency conversion on your side.
- The editorial team reviews every assignment's submissions at the deadline. Standouts get a 'featured' or 'shoutout' badge and are considered for the print magazine and YouTube features.
- You own your photos. Submitting to Framelines grants us a non-exclusive license to display the work on the site, in the magazine and on YouTube. You can remove your submission at any time.
- Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time. No questions asked, no hoops. You'll lose access to member sections and future assignments, but you can rejoin whenever you want. If you cancel mid-month, you won't be charged again.
