What I was trying to do

As with many vacation shots, I wasn't looking too far past 'something visually interesting'.

What worked

The time of day combined with the interaction of the light, glass, and figures achieved the look I was after.

What I'd do differently

Block out more time where it would be just me and I could try different shots angles etc.
