What I was trying to do

The Dean Street Express sign in Soho is iconic, so on this night I was hoping to get an interesting composition with a character in the frame. I was hoping for someone entering/leaving, but this person just came up to the door and turned back around inside.

What worked

I was happy to get the person's outline clearly in the glass pane. There is an ambiguity to what they are doing, which I like in this image.

What I'd do differently

Inadvertently, my camera was in JPEG only (it had factory reset and I'd forgot to change the file type). I do wish I could have edited from the RAW file. I also wasn't quite sure how to best frame the windows and sign, so alternative compositions might have worked better.
