Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I just got off the night bus near my hotel in Berlin when I saw this empty retail space. Then a cyclist stopped for the lights and it looked like he was in the middle of the space. So I took the shot.
- What worked:
- The surreal quality is there. I’m in the shot too. The shadow on the right.
- What I'd do differently:
- I’d have maybe have shot this in RAW rather than jpeg. Simply because there’s almost too much information colour wise. But I’m usually pretty awful at post processing. Last time I did any was for a paid job and I ended up outsourcing it.
