What I was trying to do

I just got off the night bus near my hotel in Berlin when I saw this empty retail space. Then a cyclist stopped for the lights and it looked like he was in the middle of the space. So I took the shot.

What worked

The surreal quality is there. I’m in the shot too. The shadow on the right.

What I'd do differently

I’d have maybe have shot this in RAW rather than jpeg. Simply because there’s almost too much information colour wise. But I’m usually pretty awful at post processing. Last time I did any was for a paid job and I ended up outsourcing it.
