What I was trying to do

It was in a mall entrance and darkly lit so not ideal lighting. Colour cast and plain dull clothes pushed this to a black and white. I thought there was potential for something with the four mannequins and chap working behind them. Angles were difficult due to reflections so it needed to be square on. I was hoping the subject would have a similar pose facing square to me at some point but it didn’t materialize.

What worked

I actually liked the arms the most once in review. The pose worked well I thought. I intentionally cropped the heads as it took the focus away from the arms.

What I'd do differently

I find the background that the workman is preparing a bit distracting but I actually like that it hides his feet. I’d wait around longer, I think I left the scene too early and there could have been a better shot.
