Intent

Behind the frame

What I was trying to do:: I thought this was a quirky image, photographed in St. Fagan's National Musuem of History, which is just outside Cardiff. I initially saw the different coloured tins in the window, but then noticed the reflection of the guy smoking. The positioning of the 'Fresh' sign seemed to fit. I also like the diagonals of the shelf and pavement cutting through the frame. I spent a lot of time mulling over the image and everything else I shot this month didn't quite work.

The cigarette lazily hanging from his mouth is such a lovely detail. Clever mix of different reflections in there too.

Thanks, Dan. I tried to position 'Fresh' next to the cigarette. A quirky image.
