What I was trying to do

This is one of the first street pictures I ever took. I honestly still love this shot in large part because of the colors, reflections, and textures. The quality of light and color already present meant this image required almost no post processing. I also appreciate that, if one looks closely at the newspaper in the subject's hands, one can tell this shot was taken on or near the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine - giving the image a subtle easter-egg-y historical context :)
