What I was trying to do
As usual, I was delayed at Earl’s Court, but this time it worked in my favour. The light was falling perfectly across the opposite platform, creating a beautiful atmosphere that immediately caught my attention. I made eye contact with a lady standing on the other side, and as the train began to pass between us, she continued to look across. I knew I had only a split second to capture the moment, and I was incredibly lucky to photograph her through the train window. What I love most about this image is the way the light illuminates her face. Combined with the fleeting connection between two strangers and the sense of movement from the passing train, it creates a moment that feels both intimate and cinematic.

What I'd do differently
My normal style of shooting us slow shutter, I would live to see how this woild have come out with some more motion
