What I was trying to do

Over the course of the month I had a found number of images that I felt I “could” submit but nothing I really loved. Historically I have some nice through glass images but they very much happened organically and I had never tried to “force” them as a subject matter. So I was trying to keep an open mind that I might still fall into one I love. Then on the 3rd to last day I got about 5 I love including this one!

What worked

I like the focus on the hat and intentionally letting the letting the actual subjects fall into obscurity.

What I'd do differently

I probably should have worked the scene even more…
