What I was trying to do

I was shooting in the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris, drawn to the moody light created by the commercial and restaurant signage at dusk, the covered seating along the sidewalk, and the bustle of evening commuters. There were many visual tokens of Paris and I wanted to cram as many as I could into a frame.
