It was a very warm spring evening in Tucson and I was trying to capture the energy and rhythm of the city by incorporating some motion blur. I tracked the city bus, resulting in an inquisitive looking youngster behind the glass, and the La Catrina mural to soften slightly, creating what I think gives a subtle abstract quality while still reflecting a brief visual dialogue between the two peering in the same direction. Choosing between the color and B&W version was rough, but I found myself being drawn to the high contrast B&W version more, so I went with it..
