What I was trying to do

To contrast the violent smash in the glass with a mundane moment inside the café to create an ordinary scene made strange.

What worked

Juxtaposition of the violent smash in an otherwise quiet, quotidian scene. The loud "Free" text alongside the obscuration of the figure perhaps adds a layer of irony with a narrative of urban isolation.

What I'd do differently

Framing again without distracting foreground elements, which pull a bit of attention. Being more patient and waiting for for a gesture from the subject.
