Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Taken in the Berlin underground. I wanted to capture the absurdity of this city. In this case I did not have much time to really work the scene, so I mainly hoped to find the right frame-within-frame, emphasize the color interplay as well capture the gaze of the young man.
- What worked:
- The overlay of the iconographic Berlin city branding against the plumage of the bird that points to another habitat.
