What I was trying to do

I was wandering around one of the arcades in Paris, when I spotted this scene of the gentleman writing in the cafe. It felt like a nostalgic, peaceful scene that I was glad I got to spot through the window of the place.

What worked

I like the gesture of the pen and the drink, it tells a story and the lighting was really good.

What I'd do differently

A slightly lower angle, maybe a bit more zoomed in could have worked - but overall, I'm happy with the result.
