Thank you, everyone. Here's a bit of context behind the image: In Brazil, some wealthy residential areas have controlled-access streets with security checkpoints. The photograph was taken from inside one of the small fiberglass guard booths used to monitor entry and exit, similar to the sentry boxes often seen at military checkpoints. What caught my attention was the social contrast within the scene. Photographing from the perspective of this cramped guard booth made me think about the contrast between the guard's working conditions and the apparent comfort and privilege of the woman in the background, who was probably a resident of the neighborhood. I was lucky enough to have her pass through the frame at exactly the moment I made the photograph. Cheers.
