Very much spur of the moment, I was shooting around the Barbican with my x100 set to a b&w recipe, jpeg only which initially I was a bit gutted about as I couldn’t see the colours of the trails but when I looked back a few days later I realised it actually works really well. This has since become one of my favourite photos and definitely my favourite b&w I’ve ever taken
What worked:
I think the formation of the planes and the sharp edges of the tower seem lend well to each other
What I'd do differently:
This was actually cropped from a landscape orientation so I think would have just preferred to have taken it vertical in camera
