Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Waiting for the ferry in Naples to head to Ischia, I liked the way the evaporating water softened the cruise ships and tugs behind the dockworker.
- What worked:
- I love the contrast of the dockworker and the softer image in the background.
- What I'd do differently:
- I utilised a Ricoh GR IIIx; on future occasions, I would consider a camera with a zoom lens to facilitate cropping, as the barriers prevented closer access.
