Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I'd taken a few images on this particular day in our local town centre but nothing that had really struck me until I suddenly saw the young lady on the opposite side of the road holding a smartphone to her ear just as she came into view of the combined phone box and defibrillator (I was unaware that these existed until then) on my side of the road and luckily for me she fitted perfectly into the gap between the phone itself and two other depictions of one on the surrounding perspex screen just as a helpfully dark car zoomed past and I knew it would work in mono.
- What worked:
- I like the placement of all the different elements and how your eye is immediately drawn to her and then you make the connection to the phone based theme.
