Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I watched as they walked along the Thames foreshore near Tate modern while the tide was out, and then, she kissed him. She was taller than him and tilted him backwards which reminded me of the `Times Square Kiss' by Eisenstaedt.
- What worked:
- Punching into 75mm with the 50mm I was using from my position overlooking the foreshore from the river bank gave me what I wanted. I flipped the image in post.

I love the switched dynamic between them and the surreal feel of them being by the river's edge. Apparently, according to a newspaper report, kissing is dying out amongst younger people, well this shows that passion is still out there and in full flush! Great image.
