Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Shot wide during bright late summer I looking for dramatic light in the loop area in Chicago.
- What worked:
- The mid day light combined with tall buildings and fabulous architecture creates a dramatic image with light falling onto two individuals walking adjacent to the historic Civic Opera House. The wide lens used (38mm biogon on 6x6 120) has enough detail and captures the full range of light.
- What I'd do differently:
- I would get closer and consider to tilt my lens up, there is too much dull space at the bottom of the frame.
