Behind the frame
What I was trying to do:
I've been having a lot of trouble processing the things in front of me fast enough to even recognize what's happening, not to mention getting a picture of it. In this case I was walking down the street and I saw two people with very similar outfits but opposite color dogs in those same 2 colors. They both popped into Starbucks and I did my best to get them in one frame. I know the assignment is "monochrome" but I am a color photographer through and through right now so don't have much to say in terms of monochrome besides, here is my picture that's about the colors: Black and White. My first day on framelines I was told there are no rules. If you need to convert my image to black and white to be a part of the gallery or disqualify me completely, so be it. I respect the all of you and your work! Thanks for looking.
What worked:
I got the subjects I was trying to get in one frame, in one frame.
What I'd do differently:
Well I would love for there to have been more light so I wouldn't have motion blur and the black dog behind the man is not really visible. I would have rather gotten them all out on the street when they were bumping into each other and seeing each other.
