Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I wanted to capture a spontaneous, authentic moment of everyday city life. The main subject is the couple and the dog, but the secondary subject is the rhythm of the street , built through layers of passing cyclists and pedestrians. Soft, diffused daylight to keep the tones natural and gritty.
- What worked:
- The obvious question you get, what is the relationship between the subjects? Are they a couple?
- What I'd do differently:
- Would have loved to have a motorbike passing in the street between the subjects.
