Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- To capture a rare moment in London where passersby stopped to help a homeless man lying on the floor.
- What worked:
- From helpful to interested to continuing with their day-to-day, I love the differing levels of interest and facial expressions of the passersby, perfectly captured by the gentleman busking who continued to play his music despite the homeless man collapsing right in front of him. It almost feels like a scene from a Renaissance painting.
- What I'd do differently:
- To get a little closer, perhaps place something in the foreground, such as moving traffic or pedestrians, to better frame the scene and add more layering.
