I went out last Saturday for a street photography session with some friends. We started in China town in Port Louis, which is the capital city of Mauritius and ended up at the main Market. All along, i had just one thing on my mind. 'Fill The Frame'. This shot was taken at the food stalls inside the market. This particular one is my favourite shot taken that day. You can see the lady in the yellow dress selling freshly made 'dholl puris'. Her dress and the dholl puris are exactly the same colour. Then there is a line with 3 guys. The one wearing the white hat is taking his order to go. The second one in line with the brown jacket is going through his purse to get his money ready. Whereas the last guy in the queue, wearing blue jeans, has his bank note ready in his left hand, looking like he is in a hurry! The second layer, you can partly see a guy wearing a purple shirt, arms at 90 degrees, eating the dholl puris he bought just before. The two head scarfed ladies probably waiting for him to finish. The one in black dress made a direct one eye contact to the camera probably asking herself why i am taking photographs! The third layer, you can see a guy in the red hat eating what he just bought. In the background you can distinguish another food stall and a shop selling some colourful bags. A typical Saturday morning in the Port Louis central market. Love this frame! Hope you guys like it too.
I shot on the Fujifilm XT5 + 35mmF1.4 - F8.0 - ISO 800 - SS 1/50
