Behind the frame
What I was trying to do:
I am always captured by people that have the trust of pigeons, they tend to be kind. I wanted to capture something dynamic but make it feel still and when I saw her call pigeons to her I knew I would find a moment where a dynamic scene can feel still.
What worked:
The layers, the gestures, the extension of the wings. Color control was good and the shirt catches English readers attention well. I also like the strong light, it makes me feel the place more rather than just visualizing it or perhaps I just remember how hot it was.
What I'd do differently:
Taken a half step back and a half step to the right while rotating the camera clockwise just a bit to get that runner in better placement and give the frame more room to breathe. I think I was just a half step away from getting the frame right before the composition breaks.
