Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Honestly, I liked the light and vantage point and everything else came after.
- What worked:
- I can't decide if it's formally interesting or formally chaotic, but I love that there are several sections of the image that function almost like independent photos. And the horizontal split between the grooming and the fallen fur, order v chaos there as well.
- What I'd do differently:
- I shot this from outside, on the sidewalk. I wonder what it might have looked like framed by the window, to make the vantage point clear, i.e., that it wasn't shot inside the place, from the floor.
