What I was trying to do:
Il Parco Cafe (il parco cafe) is located at the upper entrance to the Presidio Tunnel Tops overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. The cafe is a popular destination for locals and tourists. The food is beautifully displayed with colorful souvenirs and a variety of bottled beverages reflecting colorful light. The area where people select items and order food runs the length of the display cases and is only about eight feet wide. People are close together, often wearing festive clothing. This is a great location to photograph this assignment. Just before I reached the cashiers the man in front me leaned to the right and framed this shot.
What worked:
I had taken several shoots before I reached the cashiers, but this final shot was more than I’d hoped for.
What I'd do differently:
I wished I’d remember to reset my ISO when I first entered the cafe.
