Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I noticed that all of the subjects are doubled in the photo. I call it “good things come in pairs”. The lighting was amazing and I got so lucky when all of the subjects layered the way they did. I joke that the oars were fighting.
- What worked:
- I love the feeling it gives. If feels like a nostalgic lake day. I love that everything is in pairs and the guy in the shirt is even holding up two fingers and every bottle is doubled. I also like that the oars frame a smaller picture in the bigger picture
- What I'd do differently:
- I wish I was tighter on the subjects. I could have stood closer or a 50mm lens from the same distance instead of a 35mm lens. Also it could be more dramatic from a lower angle or a perspective different than just eye level
