Hey everyone!

For Assignment #26, we want to see a street photograph featuring interesting hands and gestures 🖐📷 We can't believe we haven't done this one yet...hands seem like such a staple of street photography.

What do we want to see?
For this assignment, we want to see a street or documentary photograph where the focus is on human gestures or hands.

A touch on a shoulder, a hand reaching, waving, or pointing. Some of the most iconic street photos of all time have featured some form of gesture.

Tips for the assignment:

✋ Focus on the body language: look for gestures that express emotion of feeling.

🖼️ Let the gesture lead the frame: compose your shot so that the hand or gesture becomes the focal point. Can you create a subframe within the gesture itself?

👣 Anticipate moments: Watch people as they move, interact, or work. Anticipating gestures on the street is key in catching the moment

👥 Look for interaction. A handshake, a guiding touch, people holding hands.
