My wife is a sommelier and for more than a decade we ran our own neighbourhood wine shop and bar in Acton, West London. When I started taking photography seriously, it was great to have a small space (it was tiny), full of peole having a good time and no one to tell me to stop taking pictures. It was hard work and I wish I'd taken a lot more pictures than I did. But I find it's really hard to be part of something where you're either working or a guest AND to take any decent pictures at the same time. I can only really do one or the other. This is from a night off from dishpigging and one of my favourites. I love it's painterly look.
another good one. I can almost hear the noise coming from it. very dynamic. I am also listening to some jazz now and it helps to bring it life as well!

I ride motorcycles and one of my favorite rides is to The Dry Creek General Store. Love their amazing sandwiches. There are so many fantastic roads to ride in that area. Looking forward to seeing more of your photographs Mike.
