What I was trying to do

I took this photo at a new restaurant in downtown Washington DC. It got my attention because the many bottles and colors on the window. Then I realized it was the side of the bar, the view I had from outside. I saw the people working and I tried the Fujifilm X-Half to see if it would focus on the window, on what was behind it, or both.

What worked

The light, it was the blue hour, and the warm glow from the bar created the contrast.

What I'd do differently

I should have gotten closer to the window, and it might have been less cluttered.
