What I was trying to do

I particularly liked the woman in the centre looking directly at me, and that I managed to capture a group of people having a nice time together.

What worked

The reflection of the pillar makes it look like the the woman in the centre of the trio is in a spotlight.

What I'd do differently

If I'd had the courage, I probably would have waved and got all three to look directly at me. But that would have made the picture less spontaneous.
