What I was trying to do
I was at this chaotic, crowded event. I tried my best to isolate a subject with a frame-within-a-frame composition while keeping some of the reflections and the colorful vibe of the day.
What worked
I think the image captures the feeling of being in the middle of the celebration instead of just showing it. The layers, reflections, and colors work together to create a photograph that invites exploration, with new details revealing themselves the longer you look.
What I'd do differently
The subject gets a bit lost among the reflections, and the large dark object on the right competes for attention. A slight change in position or timing might have separated the subject more clearly while keeping the layered look. Another thing I didn't manage to accomplish was timing the shot so that the other two other mirrors would reflect full faces. As it is, they only show parts of the people.

One of my faves from the submission Leo, super cool and i love the placement of the man. All the little flags going towards him is like the universe pointing him out.
Thank you! The first thing I noticed was the reflection of the flags. Then I had the idea to position myself so someone would walk into the frame, but most people were too short. I'm glad this tall guy wearing a hat happened to walk right where I wanted. Haha
I love the mix of color in this one, it's a lot but holds together beautifully.
