Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Capture a badass photo ;^) Everything happening was spontaneous and in a public space (even though it was a courtroom). The judge had been arrested prior to this, under common law, and then the people outside were invited to enter. I entered on a tide of people as I was near the entrance at the time - *allegedly
- What worked:
- Pretty much everything. It looks staged, has loads of drama and layers.
- What I'd do differently:
- Take a better camera next time.

Great photo Bob, so dynamic. The expression and guy stood on the desk make it for me
Cheers Dan. Appreciated. It was kicking off big time!
The judge had been arrested??
Yep. Under common law.
Brilliant image. I'm envious. Love real drama moments
Thanks Carl. The photo came with a price, which was being enthusiastically 'persuaded' to leave by a cop through some swing doors. Worth it though : )
Don't need a different camera...outstanding image
Thank you C.
Hi Bob. The thing I notice about this wonderful image are the people within it who don't look the slightest bit concerned by what is happening around them. I maintain the stories behind our images are as important as the images themselves and this is a prime example of that.
Thank you Colin. It was a wild situation https://youtu.be/gPTdcVXk0LY?is=9SmdWAvTDWar1Vs2
Jesus what a pic!
Cheers Luke. Right place, right time ;^)
