Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- A candid slice of everyday life on the high street, capturing an ordinary moment in a familiar urban setting. Strong, directional sunlight cuts through the surrounding shadows, drawing the eye to the woman and her shopping trolley while revealing subtle details in the background, from the Greggs sign to the bold blue of the Shoe Zone storefront. The contrast between light and shade adds depth and atmosphere, elevating a simple, everyday scene into a moment of quiet visual interest.
