Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I live near a great walking path and try to get out most days for a walk. The weather has finally started to shift here and the lower sun is becoming less harsh. I noticed the golden leaves being backlit by the morning sun and used that to frame the subjects. An ordinary scene, made a bit more special for a few minutes when the lighting is right.
- What worked:
- I appreciate how the light carves the subjects out. I also like how the red shirt of the skateboarder works with the golden leaves.
- What I'd do differently:
- I think the lighting may have been better a bit earlier. I would have also liked to play aorund with a slower shutter speed.
