Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- The pier is only a short walk from my house and visit it regularly. The end of the pier is usually populated with fishermen and in the winter can be quite empty of folks. Over the summer it becomes busier and there is something nostalgic and optimistic about this image. I am unsure why, but I like the connection between the Waverley passengers and the family on the pier. The colour coordination between the two also works for me.
