Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- This is a shot of my local cafe in my wife's home town. It's where I spend much of my time when we visit. The owner is a good friend, so I was trying to get some shots of staff and the interior. I really like the shot, especially Mari's facial expression, which is very focused and serious even though the task is quite menial I think it contradicts many people's mistaken view of young people. I'm not sure I would do anything differently. I like it as it is.
