Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- A side street behind Manchester’s Chinatown, where kitchen staff do the daily work nobody sees from the front. I was drawn to the yellow gloves against all that blue, in the alley’s flat, quiet light. It’s an ordinary routine, a few steps from streets I’ve walked countless times, that I’d never really looked at.
