I often walk through Trianon Park, near my home in São Paulo, and I wanted to pay attention to things that usually disappear into routine. I noticed a woman standing still with her hands on a tree, apparently using it as a way to connect or exchange energy, while the red MASP columns appeared in the distance across the street.
What worked:
I like the contrast between her upright figure on the left and the red vertical structures on the right. The image also holds together two different rhythms of the place: the quieter, shaded interior of the park and the movement of the city beyond the gate.
What I'd do differently:
I might try a slightly different position to separate the passerby more clearly from the gate. But I would keep the distance and the surrounding space, because they are important to the relationship between the woman, the park, and the city outside.
