Intent

Behind the frame

What I was trying to do:: Deer are a very common sight in Victoria. I found him dining on my neighbor's lawn. Where I grew up in Alabama, antlers like those would call for a little more discretion. The palm tree adds a touch of Rousseau.

I just love this photo, it feels like it’s home and familiar, but it’s interesting at the same time. Love it 😍

Never have a tree right behind someone or thing they say. But it sort of makes the picture. Has a very David Lynch feel to it. Love it too. One of my favourites
