Well... It's a picture of my local Iceland. The newspaper reads 'Brixton Centre Stage'. I wanted a cross section of people and their reflections (including my own), capped by the seriously weird poster next to the steel drum player.
What worked:
The title in the paper, the strange poster, the faceless drum player (he has an ankh in his face mask), the melancholy shopper. And the guy in the foreground has a hat: street photography 101.
What I'd do differently:
It'd benefit from more tension and interplay between the elements. The centre is quite empty and it's shot front-on. I like the layering to a degree but it'd benefit from a strong additional element in the middle and/or closer to the lens to lead the eye through the frame.
