Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- My usual morning walk with baby to the nursery takes me past the Royal Victoria Dock footbridge. This was taken on one of the 'cooler' days we had during the Summer. The morning sun perfect to catch commuters and their shadows being cast onto the stairwell shell. What really catches my eye is the shadow amongst the horizontal and vertical structures, like something organic existing amongst the metal.
- What worked:
- The sense of height from all the verticals you can see and then the solitary shadow of a commuter.
- What I'd do differently:
- I wish I could have taken this on my film camera as I only had my phone on me.
