I live in the middle of a village in Buckinghamshire. A world away from my London commute. This was taken on the same walk behind my house in Eyethrope. Normally a boring private road, but this particular morning it was freezing fog and grabbed my camera to document how the seasons can change a route or place that I have walked thousands of times. I shot a whole series that was remarkably consistent - I particularly like this frame of the ghostly dog walker appearing from the mist.
What worked:
Capturing the freezing mist and it's way of making people look like ghostly figures.
What I'd do differently:
Not much - maybe wait to let the figure get closer.
