Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- The old town of Quito is full of street vendors who set up along the busy streets, especially on weekends and holidays. My idea was to capture the hands of an elderly vendor as he arranged the costume jewelry he sells.
- What worked:
- The vendor uses on himself the products he sells. The light makes the costume jewelry pop and it is noticiable that the jewelry is displayed in styrofoam.
- What I'd do differently:
- More angles of the same photo and try to understand more the scene to give it more depth. I tend to do photos fast and not taking enough time.
