Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I live in Bangalore (megacity). So the brief asked to look at places nearby that you don’t usually shoot. At the top of my apartment building, the is a roof type park. I wouldn’t usually shoot up there, but I went a little before sunset and saw these two taking in the evening sky. I tried a few compositions and I liked these between the building braces, as it kind of frames the natural peaceful seen, while still having a little of the urban industrialness of the city.
- What worked:
- The lighting, the subframing, and the nature overlooking the city.
- What I'd do differently:
- Might have tried a longer lens, just to see how it would have came out.
