Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- The atmosphere that day was incredible. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to, and after spending hours and hours looking for an image that would both move me and evoke a certain sense of mystery, I finally managed to photograph this scene. There was something about the light, the silence and the uncertainty of the moment that made black and white feel like the right way to remember it.
