Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- This shot was taken in Lau Pa Sat, a famous street-food market (Hawker Centre) in Singapore. There is always something to shoot there and whenever I am in town I pop down with my Q3 to shoot from the hip. I saw the repetition in movement and their concentration and felt if gave a good representation of the vibe
- What worked:
- I was pleased with the repetitive elements
- What I'd do differently:
- I could have caught a slightly better moment of total symmetry and a change of composition would have made that pole between them less jarring and brought the fan on the far left more into the frame
