Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I'm not sure if the couple in the hammocks actually were with the party going on in the background, but that is the feeling I got from the scene, decked out after partying too hard 😅
- What worked:
- I liked that I was able to compose it in such a way the middle pole is in a gap of the people in the background, I also found it pleasing how the resting people are mirrored. Finally it was my first time shooting black and white film, so I was unsure how much dynamic range I had to work with and how to expose, but it worked out well in the end.
